Slowly but surely the whole notebook industry is transferring its allegiance to 16:9 ratio screens, with 16 inches appearing to be mainstream size of choice. Latest to join the party is MSI with its Bravo EX623 and given MSI is known to supply a number of brands, see the MSI Wind and its various offspring for evidence of that, it's a machine that's bound to pop-up all over the place.
So, what do you need to know? Well, predictably enough it's a Centrino 2 machine, though processor options aren't available at this time. Aside from this graphics will be provided by an nVidia 9500M GS with 512MB VRAM. It also features what MSI terms its Cinema Pro technology, an umbrella term that includes picture modes for enhanced media viewing, along with sub-woofer enhanced audio with Dolby Home Theatre support - as highlighted in the delightful YouTube promo below!
Hard drive options max out at 320GBs, Blu-ray drives will be an option and the whole system should weigh 2.7kg with its standard six-cell battery.
No pricing or availability is currently available, but we'll be sure to let you know when they are.
