Lexmark may be known for producing more budget orientated printers but it has just churned out an All-in-one with a considerable amount of clout.
The X7350 targets the SOHO market and is a real jack of all trades being about to print, scan, copy, fax and arrange and share colour documents and photos.
Now we all know how dodgy printer companies’ speed claims are but if the X7350 gets anywhere near to its 25ppm and 19ppm rates for mono and colour documents respectively then there won’t be many complainers. A print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi is also not to be sniffed at.
As for the scanner this manages to match the printer’s resolution and sports a 48bit depth while the copier claims to churn out 24cpm for mono documents and 16cpm for colour. Reduction and enlargements can be made from 25 to 400 per cent and the fax runs at an office spec 33.6Kbps and has an automatic paper feeder which can handle up to 50 pages. Furthermore, the X7350 is network capable with optional Ethernet and wireless g adaptors available.
Lexmark's Productivity Suite Software is bundled allowing users to manage a variety of print and electronic formats including creating and searching pdfs and scanning printed documents into editable text. Available from mid April, the X7350 has an RRP of £149.99 which, on paper (sorry, couldn’t resist), sounds rather a bargain.
