LG Viewty II Details Revealed

The KC910 was long thought to be the Viewty II until LG surprised everyone by announcing it would be called the Renoir. So what is the Viewty II? Apparently this...

The 'GC900' is the handset code number given to what will be commercially labelled the Viewty II/Viewty 2 and its specs came rolling out today from the LG Dealershow currently taking place in Holland. Yes, CeBIT may also be running but it seems no-one (perhaps wisely) cares about that show much anymore.

As you can see - despite the Dutchicising of it all - we've got a handset that sounds much like the WMC unveiled Arena, complete with HSDPA, WiFi, aGPS, Push email, the hyped 3D UI and a 3in WVGA touchscreen. Where it pulls away from even this beastie however are the inclusion of an 8MP camera with Xenon flash, auto focus, image stabilisation, face tracking, geo-tagging and a 1600 ISO which could potentially make it an industry leader. Video isn't sloppy either supporting DivX and Xvid plus slow motion and high speed recording options (most likely at the Viewty inspired120fps).

Don't be fooled by the mention of 32GB though, a quick bit of Google translation reveals that to be expandable memory not native - the native memory remains unknown.

When can we expect something formal? I suspect within 24/48 hours...
