LG Sweetens Chocolate Range

Gorged yourself on LG’s chocolate goodies but still in need of a further sugar rush? Check out this lil’ fella…

Called the KG99, this skinny (95 X 52 X 9.9mm), lightweight (73g) tri-band candybar re-jigs the usual number pad layout by sliding the bottom row of buttons from a horizontal to a vertical position. It looks rather cool and allows for a larger – though low res (176 x 220 pixel) - 262k colour screen to be fitted but I’ll bet the changeover will present one seriously frustrating learning curve.

Elsewhere a 2MP camera with 4x digital zoom has made it inside along PictBridge support and a media player capable of handling MP3, MP4, 3GP, AAC, AAC+ and WAV formats. An FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity and MicroSD expansion slot also figure while LG claims the model is good for 250 hours on standby and 150 minutes of talk time.

The KG99 is available in any colour (as long as its black) and LG has been good enough to give us details regarding price and availability. And by ‘good enough’ I mean shown little desire to reveal the finer points and by ‘little desire to reveal the finer points’ I mean seared the tongues of its entire market team using a blowtorch. They're strict at LG...

You should see what the punishment is for tardiness...
