With CES 2011 coming upon us very fast, we are getting more and more information from companies asking if we’d like to have a look at the products they will be unveiling at the Vegas show. So how do manufacturers stand out in the crowd of tech companies? Well LG has taken the step of just telling us what we can expect at CES 2011.
It might ruin the excitement for us but it gives everyone a clear indication of where LG is going in 2011 with its home cinema products. It has revealed that we will get our hands on two home cinema systems and a standalone Blu-ray player. First up is the HX996TS home theatre system. Boasting sound that is "as deep and lifelike as any 3D image," it includes Vertical 3D Effect Channel. We’re not sure what it means either but apparently it blasts out sound from the top of the included Tallboy Speakers. This will give you 7.1 sound without having to put up speakers.
The HB906SB Blu-ray player at CES 2011 comes with four bookshelf speakers, a centre speaker and a sub capable of 1,100W total output power. It also utilizes LG's new Digital Signal Processing to sort out the sound waves. Both systems have USB support, two HDMI inputs, an iPod/iPhone dock, WiFi, Ethernet port, are DLNA compliant and can connect to LG’s Smart TV and App Store.
Finally the BD690 is a stand alone network Blu-ray 3D player that boasts Smart TV Technology, access to the LG App Store and Wi-Fi Direct compatibility - which is a first in the market.
