Intel has announced availability of a new mobile processor, the Pentium M 765, its fastest mobile CPU yet.
It’s a Dothan based processer, manufactured on a 0.09 micron process. The clock speed is 2.1GHz and features 2MB of Level 2 cache. The CPU supports a front side speed of 400MHz and features Intel’s power saving SpeedStep technology.

The Pentium M makes up one third on Intel’s Centrino brand, along with the 865 chipset and Intel’s PRO Wireless chipset.
The CPU is being made available worldwide today and is priced at $637 in 1,000-unit quantities.
