IFA 2009: Panasonic Lumix GF1 Photo Gallery

As we reported earlier in the show, Panasonic has got all official on its latest G-Series camera, the GF1. This Olympus E-P1-alike looks set to be another camera people will be eyeing enviously for months to come, but rather than blather on further about this highly exciting camera - if you want all the technical details check the previous story - we've got some visual eye-candy for you to enjoy: three pages of hands-on pictures of Panasonic's latest micro four-thirds effort.

This is the GF1 with its 'pancake' kit lens.

And here with the optional telephoto lens.

A side-on shot shows how slim it is with the pancake lens.

The telephoto is significantly longer.

There's also a new fish-eye lens to add some flexibility.

Wow - mouth-watering! Being over the mooon with my new LX3, I can only imagine what this must be like. Time to start saving again! Looking forward to your review.

"Up top there's a mode dial, the shutter button and, of course, an accessory shoe that you can attached the optional optical viewfinder to." I may be wrong but I thought it was a EVF not optical viewfinder that is being released at the same time for use with the GF1?

I'm dreading the price when they tell us as Iknow as I won't be able to afford the most desirable camera I have seen in years..
