HTC is in London this afternoon for the unveiling of new handsets, and the Desire HD and the Desire Z are the expected arrivals.
Rumours around the existence of the Desire HD have been floating around for some time, and we had its existence confirmed a month ago with its appearance on Mobiles.co.uk.
Image courtesy of Electric PigHardware wise we’re expecting a frankly huge 4.3in display, but using SLCD rather than AMOLED tech. Android 2.2 Froyo will be preinstalled, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU will power it and an 8-megapixel camera will be on the rear.
The Desire Z meanwhile, which is expected to be Android 2.1 device with a sliding Qwerty keyboard, so not quite as sexy, but more practical.
