Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) is a company better known for its corporate orientated products, but it has always had a foot in the consumer space and it has announced its intention to launch products with a "common design language" that will be instantly recognisable as belonging to it. In this spirit it has also streamlined its branding, with all consumer offerings falling under the AMILO brand, business products under the ESPRIMO brand, and servers under the PRIMERGY brand.

Today, though, the focus is on the AMILO branded consumer products, and one new product is something we've already reported, the AMILO 3000 GraphicBooster. This, developed in partnership with AMD, utilises ATI XGP technology to provide external graphics for notebooks in much the same manner as the still to surface Asus XG Station.

Moreover, as the shots show, you'll be treated to DVI and HDMI outputs as well as two USB ports - perfect for an external keyboard and mouse. It also allows you to connect up to three displays to a single notebook, with two connected to the GraphicBooster and one to the video output on the notebook. Unfortunately, details as to exactly what you get and how much it'll cost are still unknown, but we're keen to see if it can turn some laptops into genuinely useful gaming machines.
