I HATE Facebook add-ons, I've been bitten by Zombies, hugged by Werewolves, poked, pushed, spanked, sent pastries, sticky notes, asked my Stripper Name, my purity rating and been treated to the special torture of 'Top Friend' requests and now Facebook wants to reward these annoying programmers...
Now I understand the frivolity of these things. Discrimination being vital when you have one friend in particular whose collection includes:
*Songs Dedicated To Me
*Magic 8 Ball
*Hot or Not
*Texas HoldEm Poker
*What's your stripper name?
*My Greeting Cards
*Talk To Me!
*My Purity Test

So thrill-beyond-thrill alleged plagiarist and Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg had this stomach churning news to spread as he targets "innovative and disruptive programs":
"We're doing this at Facebook to support the ecosystem and help it grow," he said, making me shudder. "Any application developer can submit their application and a little business proposal to us. If we think the project is good we will give a grant for somewhere between $25,000 to $250,000." He added that "This is a grant to help these companies get off the ground and torture Gordon".
With over 4,000 Facebook 'innovative and disruptive programs' already doing the rounds I can't really see the point in encouraging even more of the darn things. It seems to benefit Facebook more than it does end users. Still, I have bigger battles ahead - like staging my friend's Facebook Add-ons Intervention...
