DFIs LANParty motherboard based on Intel's 875 chipset proved to be a favourite for gamers, thanks to its over the top spec and colourful layout. Now the company hopes that it can repeat the feat with newest motherboard - the 925X-T2.

This supports all the new goodies of Intel's 925 chipset, such as LGA 775 CPUs, dual-channel DDR2, and 16x PCI Express graphics, Serial ATA Matrix RAID, eight USB 2.0 and two FireWire ports. It also offers a few extras of its own such as dual-Gigabit LAN, and its own proprietary 8-channel Karajan audio.

What makes DFI feel that can name its High Definition Audio after a world famous conductor is that it has placed the Azalia codec onto a separate daughter card. This is to isolate it from any circuit noise and thus improve sound quality even further.

DFI also gives you that little bit extra by enabling users to push past the ten per cent over clocking barrier that Intel has imposed on its motherboards.

In addition, DFI will also make you happy by bundling three UV sensitive round cables, so your PC insides will look great under that ultra-violet bulb you’ve got in your PC den.

Groovy.
