Asus

Asus was showing a lot of the same stuff that was at CeBIT earlier in the year. The S-Presso small form factor PC was in evidence again, as was the new My Pal pocket PC.





Of far more interest was the Asus range of graphics cards, especially the new nVidia 6800 Ultra cards. As you can see from the picture below, Asus has produced a single slot solution 6800 Ultra card. Most manufacturers have stuck to the nVidia reference design, but Asus has decided to go down the custom route and create something a bit special.



To complement your high-end CPU, Asus was showing a truly massive CPU cooler. This barrel shaped cooler definitely looked the part, and will no doubt convince many PC enthusiasts to get a case wit ha clear side panel.



Also on display was Asus’ DigiMatrix 2 media PC box. The original DigiMatrix turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, so let’s hope that this one redresses the balance.
