With MSI, HP and Sony all bringing out new all-in-one (AIO) PCs recently, the market place for these touchscreen computers is becoming very crowded, but with its latest offering, Acer hopes its proprietary TouchPortal interface powered by Sandy Bridge processors will set it apart.
The Acer Aspire Z5761 is a 23in AIO which is looking to combine power inside with good looks outside. Its sleek design is sure to appeal to the more style concious users, especially with its combination of aluminium with matt and glossy black. Blue lighting illuminates the keyboard when in use, and when using the touchscreen, the keyboard can be tucked away beneath the PC. The Z5781 has a 23in Full HD 1080p screen which has multi-touch capabilities. The Acer TouchPortal is Acer’s own UI which aims to make using the touchscreen a lot more intuitive.
TouchPortal brings a suite of touch-enhanced applications for video, camera, browser, music and photo. The Aspire Z5761 also comes with Acer’s new multimedia file sharing system, Clear.fi, which we’ve seen recently in Acer’s Iconia Tabs. Under the hood, the Z5761 comes with the second generation Intel Core processors including Intel’s Turbo Boost technology. Other options include Blu-ray drives, TV-tuners, up to 1.5TB of storage and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
The Z5761 is going to available here next month with prices starting at £799.
