Nvidia Shield TV 53

The excellent 4K Nvidia Shield TV is getting a special Black Friday deal.

If you're tempted by Nvidia's 4K Android TV set-top box, you'll be even more so by the time you've seen this Black Friday deal.

Although Black Friday isn't until November 27, the Nvidia Shield TV deal actually goes live this evening (at an unknown time) via the Nvidia Store.

The deal sees you save 35% or £30 on the Nvidia Shield TV, dropping the price of the 4K streaming box from £149.99 to just £119.99, complete with the Wireless Controller.

But, the deal goes beyond just a price drop, as Nvidia is also bundling in a free Nvidia Shield Remote for that price. The slimline metal remote actually retails for £39.99 normally, so it's quite the bargain.

The Nvidia Shield TV is a powerful little set-top box, powered by the Tegra X1 for 4K content streaming and super-slick performance.

You've got access to Netflix, iPlayer, Plex, Hulu, Google Play and more, and it's also a great place for Android gaming.

The Shield TV also comes equipped with the Nvidia GeForce Now game streaming platform, which comes with a three month trial period (and £7.49 after that).

To celebrate the Nvidia Shield TV deal, Nvidia also has some offers on games to buy instantly from the GeForce Now store:

  • Saints Row 4 – 70% off
  • Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell – 50% off
  • Metro Last Light Redux – 75% off
  • Metro 2033 Redux – 75% off

Am I missing something here? It's still up at £149.99 on the Nvidia website post 1am on Thursday 26th. Either it went live & sold out or your information is incorrect. There's not even a mention of a potential Black Friday deal on the site at all.

think the above is confusing US black friday deal for a uk one. US have $50 saving, so article assumed it would be replicated on UK site, which it isn't

Doesn't look like it's happening here :-(
Would be interested to know where TR got their source?

Being generous, this looks like perhaps, this was posted a day early on TR's web site, it makes more sense that this happens this evening Thursday 26th. However this would be a great offer on top of the recent addition of the bundled smart remote. Finger crossed this still happens. I like the other posters waited for the offer to appear last night.

Come on Ed. sort it out.

Guys don't look on the Nvidia website, it's still £149 eh.

Go to Amazon here and get it for £117 including the Remote and the Control pad.
