Yet more 'evidence'...?
Probably matched in hype only by its predecessor, the 3G iPhone has had still further speculation this week following what are alleged to be the first spy shots as well as a guide to its dimensions.
The former is easily dealt with and comes from French site iPhon which claims to have received the shots above from a reader. iPhon admits the authenticity of the snaps are unknown and quite frankly given the wonky Apple logo on the back, lack of a front facia video conferencing camera (it is meant to be 3G after all) and horrendous scuff marks (Apple has been down this road before and surely isn't looking for a return journey) I have severe doubts about it.
That said, the (likely and hopefully - its flimsy) fake does at least attempt to follow much of the industry speculation and gives some idea of how a crappy version of a black 3G model may look.
The latter 'leak' is potentially more interesting and is said to be the dimensional guide for the new handset supplied by Apple to third party manufacturers to enable them to start making new add-ons. Of course Apple tends to be hugely secretive even with official partners so the diagram only outlines the bare basics even if the apparent white, black and red colour options are intriguing...
More fluff or are Cupertino secrets sliding out one by one? Discuss...
