2K debuts new NBA 2K17 ‘Friction’ trailer

New footage from the upcoming NBA 2K17 has been showcased in a trailer for the game, which is due to launch next month.

With the release drawing closer, anticipation for what is likely to be the best NBA sim yet is rising, and this latest preview should help bolster the excitement.

The game is set to introduce improved coach and player faces and body types, adding to the realism with more realistic renders, plus new lighting effects.

All of which is demonstrated in today’s trailer, which has been titled ‘Friction’, to match the Imagine Dragons track that accompanies it.

The game is due for a September 16 release, but fans who pre-order will get the usual load of extra content the, including 5,000 Virtual Currency, MyTEAM Bundle, the legendary 1992 USA Basketball “Dream Team”, and a Paul George USA Basketball jersey for your MyPLAYER.

George was announced as the cover athlete for the latest in the NBA 2K series earlier this year.

There will also be a special Kobe Bryant edition available in celebration of the Laker legend’s final year in the NBA.

The Kobe Bryant Legend Edition will go on sale for £74.99, along with a more feature-packed Kobe Bryant Legend Edition Gold for £79.99.

NBA 2K17 will be released on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
