Appliance installation is helped along by the WD Discovery utility



The main web interface offers both basic and advanced modes for configuration



Disk arrays are easy to create and plenty of help is provided for choosing the right one



The Downloader feature isn't well documented but it provides some useful file retrieval tools



The package includes a decent backup utility and a trial of the full MioNet remote access service

The review states that the ShareSpace does not support UPnP media services yet the Western Digital website claims that it is UPnP certified for streaming multimedia.
