Netgear WFS709TP ProSafe Smart Wireless Controller Review

Theoretically a lovely product, but ruined by a poor manual and poor support from a company which does not seem to have the knowledge or infrastructure required to support this kind of technology(Netgear have licensed much of the intelligent parts of the product from Aruba). I'm running it with 4 SSIDs, each using different authentication and security method. After 3 months off and on tweaking it, I'm nearly happy with it, but if you want to get the best out of it, you really need an in-depth knowledge of networking and security systems. The manual is of limited use, as it contains many misleading statements, and is little more than a walk through of the web screens. The record for telephone support is queuing for 25 minutes to talk to an engineer who knew what the the product was, and another 40 minutes for him to get an answer to my question (How do I reset the unit to actory defaults).
What the product really needs is a dedicated web area with sample configurations for a few different scenarios, with attendant guides for configuring external resources essential to make the product work, such as Domain Controller, DNS, Radius server and DHCP server. If you can't configure these resources, you will need to limit your objectives to a very simple application.
