So what do you do once you complete the largest trial of ADSL2+ networking in the UK? That’s right: you set the whole service live.

As of today highly ambitious industry newcomer Be Unlimited is up and running. £24 per month gets you a no-caps ADSL2+ line (theoretically capable of up to 24Mbps), a free “Be Box” (Thomson SpeedTouch 716g wireless router) and – get this – no annual contract!

All sign ups with Be carry a three month notice period, so if you want to vamoose after that then – as our xx chromosome partners constantly remind us of their entitlement – that is your ‘’prerogative’’. The only pre-requisite is a BT Line. Naturally distance from the exchange will affect the speed of service you can receive, but the trials yielded connections of up 18.5Mbps and you know it’s only going to get faster…
