Do you know if this can run off a battery (and preferably charge up when plugged in)?

So many of these 'portable' radios turn out only to be portable in the sense that you can move them from one electrical 'port' socket to another, which is not much use if you want something you can genuinely move around with you or take into the garden.

If this can be battery-powered as well as doing all the great things you mention, I think I'll be off to Argos! Otherwise I'll continue with my bodged link-up of my computer's audio output, a two-way stereo switch box and a Sky Gnome!
