It seems that the guys at Belkin spend most of their time trying to come up with innovative ideas. You know those round grommets in your desk for routing your cables from your desktop down to your computer and power socket? Well now you can make that round plastic grommet a useful bit of kit.

On show was a four-port USB hub built into a desk grommet. This means that you don’t have to make space on your desk for the hub, plus you don’t need to have the power cable for it draped across your desk. And just to prove that the concept has more than one application, there was also a grommet with an integrated iPod dock on show.
