If you’ve been holding off buying a new PC or notebook until Vista hits the streets, you’re probably not looking forward to getting all of your data from your old PC to the new one. The Vista Easy Transfer Cable is designed to make that transition as easy and painless as possible.

The 8ft long cable connects to both PCs via USB and will automatically transfer all of your files, folders, emails and settings to the new PC. So, if you’ve setup loads of email accounts, mail folders and signatures, they’ll be transferred to your new system. If you’ve created loads of macros under Excel or Photoshop, they’ll all wing their way to the new system as well.

You’ll still have to load all of your applications, but at least you’re not going to have to manually copy all your documents, files and folders to a removable hard drive, then manually copy them all to the new machine.
