I just grabbed some PL11s. Not had any earphones for a while, and felt like it was time to replace my Beyerdynamic headphones.

Is PL11 better than Creative EP-630(I own a pair of these)?

Or I have to go to PL30 or Pl50?

Hi Jorgebr,

I'd say the PL11s are quite a lot better. The EP-630s offer great value if you can get them really cheap, but the PL11s are a step above in terms of bass response, presence and overall sound quality. I don't really think you can get much better for under £20.

EP630 has a much lessened clarity vs PL11. IMVHO, you should just add a bit more and get a PL30/50. :)

Can't say I'm hugely impressed with the P11s to be honest. The sound is quite tinny and bassless.

Have you got them seated properly, Darfuria? I'm not saying your opinion isn't valid, but there's absolutely no way I could describe the samples I have here as tinny or bassless. If anything they're a little bass heavy!
