I honestly never imagined I’d ever type the words Burning Love Pouch into a review for TrustedReviews – after all this is a web site for all the family. However, this is the name for this range of highly individual holders for your nano. They’re not cases as such, but pouches – just pop your nano in and that’s it. You have to take your nano out to access the controls save for the hold switch at the top, but it’s so easy to take it in and out it’s not too much of a problem. But these cases are hardly about practicality – they’re about making a statement.

In case, you’re into Burberry, there’s one above is for you – though like Jeremy Clarkson describing the camera filter that would be best suited for filming the Focus ST on Top Gear, we referred to it as the ‘WestBrook’.


Moving on, we’ve got a fluffy one that looks like Chewbacca or possibly a Tribble, and then there’s a couple of pouches that are about as tasteful as a drunken night out in Blackpool.


Finally, there’s one that can only be described, as pink - or possibly as ‘insanely pimp’. Either way, it’s just wrong. And if you’re wondering why there’s a toy car peeking out of the top of that one, it’s because Spode put it there – only he knows why.


You can buy the pouches for nano, minis, and video iPod’s but all are the same price – you can even get a complete set of six for £59.99.Clearly these are a Marmite thing – you love it or hate it. They’re not to my tastes but I imagine that they’ll be insanely popular – with the emphasis on insane. As my Dad likes to say, “there’s nought so queer as folk”. (For those south of the Watford gap, this means – there’s no accounting for taste).

Verdict

If you’re ‘wild, zany and just crazy’ you’ll love these ‘fun’ pouches. You know who you are.
