ZuneHD Packing Multi-touch, OLED Display & HDMI

Microsoft always said that it would only ship its Zune line of players internationally when it felt they were of significant quality. With the brand struggling that time looked like never, but suddenly it appears to be now...
Following some detective work by wmpoweruser.com the recently leaked ZuneHD (apparently there's no space) is shaping up to be a corker.

The big news is that player will have a 3.6in capacitive multi-touch 16:9 aspect ratio OLED screen which capitalises on technology Microsoft has honed through Surface. It will also playback High Definition content which can be outputted to any HDTV via a side mounted HDMI port. Potentially topping things off (but here my Cynic Sense tingles) is support for Xbox games with a Tegra chipset powering it all and wireless synchronisation. There will allegedly be a choice of 16GB and 32GB flash capacities or a 120GB HDD and on-device access to the Zune Marketplace.
The report even goes so far as to discuss an international launch timeframe with the US, UK, France and Canada all said to be receiving the ZuneHD around September time.
Personally I'm sceptical about a fair amount of this - because otherwise Microsoft just created the MP3 player of our dreams (as long as it doesn't run on Windows Mobile!) - but let's hope it all turns out to be true.
