Cowon's Tasty Trio of Touchscreen PMPs

Cowon has long been producing credible MP3 players and PMPs but could this trio at last catapult them into the mainstream?

The 'S9 Curve ', 'L3' and 'O2' are the latest visually stunning additions to its repertoire and all employ touchscreen interfaces and are equally comfortably playing video and audio.
Specific details are limited - though that might be due to my inability to speak Korean - but from what I can gather the S9 will be the company's first device to use an AMOLED (active matrix OLED) display while each will feature a T-DMB mobile TV tuner and support for Apple lossless and True Audio codecs.

The S9 is a true touch rival too sporting a 3.3in LCD, accelerometer and remarkable battery life capable of 40 hours continuous music playback, while an unexpanded upong 'dual core' processor should mean its speeds along. The O2 on the other hand is a large 4.3in device managing 18 hours music playback (eight hours video) and the L3 sports a monstrous 7in LCD with 800 x 480 native resolution and is design for home or car usage.
Expect Cowon to serve up the full details at IFA this week which we'll be jetting out to on Wednesday. Berlin here we come!
