"The G31M-F uses the G31 chipset, which has GMA 3100 graphics that support Shader Model 2 with Vertex Shader 2.0a and Pixel Shader 2.0. This means that you can forget about running Windows Vista with its 3D Aero interface."
If my old computer with its 945G motherboard and GMA 950 can manage Vista's Aero I don't see why a G31 with the newer (but still rubbish) GMA 3100 can't.

Aero on Intel
Your comment is very valid as GMA 950 is very similar to GMA 3100, except that you have less video memory and a slower core. I am probably guilty of some short hand here and should have said 'run Aero properly'
Can you use the Aero Flip feature on your 945G?
Does your 945G

Yes the Aero Flip feature does work on my 945G. However Vista does run very slowly!
Not sure what is meant by "Does your 945G".

£68 is hardly cheap. The Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H which I'd think would compete with this, is available for around £48
