AOpen has announced a new XC Cube based on Intel’s 915 chipset. The XC Cube EX915 is based on the 915G chipset and offers support for LGA 775 processors up to a potential 4GHz. AOpen states that its four-way voltage technique and proprietary cooling system enables the cube to operate stably for hours at a time, while providing a low noise working environment.

The XC Cube EX915 has Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 built-in, but also provides a 16x PCI Express slot and a single PCI slot for further expansion. Also present is built-in 5.1 channel sound, four SATA connectors, eight USB ports, three IEEE 1394 ports, two 3.5in hard disc bays, and a 5.25in drive bay.
