It's a real shame that DisplayLink haven't yet managed to get their act together regards Linux drivers. They wouldn't even have to write/maintain them, just release details of their communications format and let the wonderful world of FOSS do the rest.
Maybe the stunning rise in popularity of Linux netbooks will wake them up?
