Bluetooth V3.0: Bluetooth with a touch of Wi-Fi? Comments

I still don't understand why the MP3 market never jumped on Bluetooth. Like mobiles, nearly everyone's got one, plus phones have now doubled as MP3 players anyway. It seemed like an obvious move to me, given that Wi-Fi was never implemented on them and the everyday use is very relateable - someone has a song you like, so you deploy Bluetooth there and then. Perhaps the ubiquitous iPod's rejection of things like card slots and Bluetooth, hid the wood for the trees.
