First impressions are I don't like it. It takes a long time to zoom in, and looking at the BBC I find the text fuzzy at various points on the (Nokia E71) screen.
Shame, because I like the front page interface, and unlike ravmania I found it started up rapidly.
I'll be sticking with Opera Mini, which I actually prefer to Opera Mobile.

I agree with the authors point on the long delay this browser takes in drawing a webpage when zooming closer into it. This for me unfortunately is its achiles heel as it denies you the ability to quickly glance over a page and pick out the headlines that interest you.
That said the rendering of web pages is almost perfect even to the point of displaying the authors intended typface and far superior to the efforts made by opera mini and the native browser on my nokia e51

About the "A bigger issue going forward, however, is that it currently does not work at all on devices with WVGA screens.":
you should add the 176x220 pixels of the HP iPAQ 514 isn't supported too :(

Been using this for a few weeks and it is good but Opera Mobile just works better on my device. Just like you said pages load quickly but startup takes an age.
