RIM Bringing Flash & Silverlight to BlackBerrys Comments

No matter which company it comes from, we'll certainly welcome the news. If only mobile network providers can be more generous of data allowances...

I'm sure Apple's real motive (rightly or wrongly) is that FLASH and SilverLight open the door for a stream content (e.g. Games and Apps) that bypass their testing/certification process and their App Store (chi-ching).

It's a similar argument from Apple on the Java front - but I hope they eventually give in to pressure, since both Java and Flash / SilverLight have many uses beyond gaming that appeal to mobile business users.
