"The roaming-rip off is now coming to an end"
Only in Europe, 3 has made roaming in other countries more expensive to compensate (including ditching 3 from home). Happy days!

@Frank Well it is better with landlines at least:

Any news on costs to receive text messages? And does the billing per second rule only apply when roaming around mainland Europe, or are all our UK calls about to start getting that rule applied also?
James Cocker said on 3rd July 2009
I've just moved from the UK to Belgium, and the silly thing is it is now cheaper to text the UK from my roaming O2 SIM, than it is on my Belgium network SIM! And I can now see non-roaming international SMS rates going up to compensate for the loss of profit from roaming SMSs!

Every little helps.
It would also be useful if they could tackle the excessive cost of calling 0800, 0845 numbers from mobiles problem, maybe not a "European" issue though.
