Rumours have been building around this handset for sometime so Nokia has finally decided to put us out of our misery...
The Finnish behemoth today formally announced the 'E63' - its latest attempt to deliver a swift titty twister to RIM's impressive BlackBerry range. Targeting what has effectively become the smartphone 'low end' the E63 features an all-too-familiar candybar screen-above-qwerty layout and a couple of nice touches.

Raw specs first and you'll get a reasonably large 2.4in QVGA 16 million colour display, WiFi, a 2MP camera with LED flash, POP3, IMAP and SMTP email support, multimedia playback and very compact 113 x 59 x 13mm dimensions and a pocket friendly weight of just 126g. I just saw some suggested prices for an unlocked version of this, and if they are right,
at launch, this would cost just half of what E71 was. Brilliant.
