I find it difficult to believe *no one* is clamouring for Street View in the UK. Judging from comments left at other blogs, there must surely be a few UK citizens anticipating it. Anyway, you are incorrect that Google's Street View is available for London. There is street-level imagery for London, all right, but it's not from Google - a small company called Seety beat Google to it, and you can find the images at www.seety.co.uk.
