Apple Bucks Trend & Posts Record Results

Bickering? This is great news for a company that deserves it. They create beautifully designed products, and are the king of hype. People buy their - often overpriced - products, are mostly happy with their purchase because they are happy to style over substance. The only disappointment comes when supposedly more educated analysts fall for the hype and praise almost unconditionally products which are far from perfect, despite all their qualities ;)... But frankly, well done Apple, go and get the rest of the market to follow your lead in design an interface and force them improve their products... If only we could get style AND substance more often, at a reasonable price (from Apple or anyone else!)

Credit crunch? What credit crunch? Well I guess we all know where to apply!!

Apple are due a major 'product transition' before the end of September, and what they have planned they say "Nobody else has anything like it"... Centrino 2? Obviously! Multi-touch? Hopefully! Might we see the much rumoured touch-screen iMac? I also see a sub £500 Macbook on it's way too.

Flying car. In black. Or a special turbo edition in white that will save environment and bring about world peace. Unfortunately, no-one will buy it, because there's no front facing camera and the end of the world will remain nigh. Sigh.
