I'm sorry, I really, really tried to find news that wasn't phone related... but I failed, again.

For iPhone haters (there are a lot of you out there - aren't there Jalal) the subject of this story is even worse, but for everyone else: this could be what you've been waiting for.
Launched today is a brand new application by hacker Zibri dubbed 'ZiPhone' which claims to unlock any version of iPhone firmware (from 1.02 - 1.1.3) whether upgraded or straight out of the box. Even better, it claims to achieve this without convoluted downgrades or even baseband changes. Adding the metaphorical cherry on top of all this, ZiPhone comes with a proper software GUI and gives users the option to select whether they'd like to simply Jailbreak, Activate or Unlock their iPhones - or all three.
Being the cautious fellows we are (Riyad, Hugo and I all succumbed to Cupertino giant) we haven't yet tried ZiPhone on our own handsets, but it is now being widely reported all across the web that this is indeed the real deal.
