So the MacWorld 2008 announcements are out the door and you can read about Time Capsule, the iPhone and iPod touch upgrades, iTunes movie rentals and the revolutionising firmware update for Apple TV in Part One of my live blog while the full details on the stunning MacBook Air are in Part Two.

So now the technical info is out the way, time for some gratuitous live shots...

The wibbly wobbly icons on the iPhone's home screen waiting to be dragged and dropped. Note the four swipeable screens (indicated by the four dots at the bottom).


The confirmation of firmware v1.1.3 on the iPod touch (it'll be the same on the iPhone).


The sleek Time Capsule wireless backup disc which supports multiple Macs.

Flip down the protective cover and it reveals the (powered) USB 2.0 port, mini DVI port and head phone jack - the only connections on the entire notebook.
