The Nokia N95 isn't everyone's cup of tea (it certainly isn't mine) but you have to admire Nokia for its diligent ongoing support.

Following on from last month's impressive Nokia Internet Radio upgrade for its N82, N91 and N95 models, the last of these three models is once more on the end of an appealing software upgrade.

Firmware v15.0.015's headlining feature is that it now brings iPhone-esque YouTube support to the handset. Unlike Apple's pride and joy, the application isn't a native application, requiring users to surf directly to the site on the N95's browser, but given the appeal of such functionality it would be mean to nitpick.

Also inching Nokia's self proclaimed 'multimedia computer' closer to the iPhone is the introduction of weather and stocks widgets which, despite having a "me-too" feeling, certainly aren't to be sniffed at on a phone which comes free on many 12 and 18 month contracts.

A note of caution: the update will reset the handset meaning any customised themes or third partner apps you may have installed will need to be downloaded and setup all over again, but it seems a fair (if irritating) price to pay.

So while iPhone owners may continue to snigger at your spec-heavy brick (not me, oh nooooo...) you can sleep easily knowing your wallet remains considerably fatter than theirs...
