LG 'Wine Phone' Adds Vintage To Range

They say In Vino Veritas but for LG it is clearly In Vino: clamshell, Bluetooth, and megapixel. What a curious world we live in...

Still, the latest in LG's increasingly curiously named range of handsets is the 'Wine Phone' ('m guessing because of the colour – it also comes in red – not because you can trample it with your feet and get sloshed on the juices) and it certainly looks nice enough (pic via the equally wonderfully titled Akihabaranews).
That said, while the 'Wine' brand tends to imply grown up sophistication (how many teens do you see quaffing a full bodied Shiraz down the pub... unless her name is 'Shiraz'?) the handset is firmly targeted at the budget buyer. Consequently, specs are nothing to write home about with a 2.2in screen, 1.3MP camera and MP3 player.
Other details were kept bottled up (sorry) but I do know the Wine Phone will debut first in Korea on 25 May for just 300,000 KRW (£162) with an inevitable global launch to follow.
Odds on a follow up called the 'JD & Coke'? Personally I'm gunning for the 'Alcopop'...
