Vertu is a company that is well known for putting out massively expensive phones and its latest collection is really no different. Except it's probably going to cost even more megabucks than we had previously thought possible.

Phones from the company, which is a division of Nokia, generally cost upwards of a couple of grand, in good old British pounds and are a standard fixture amongst the rich and famous.

For the Bernie Ecclestone in all of us, a new collection of phones is being made available which feature etched depictions of the world's most famous motor racing tracks on the precious-metallic backs. There are six phones in total, including a titanium silver Nürburgring and yellow Monaco.

Given that each phone hails from the standard Ascent range, which costs upwards of £2000, the box of six (which is made from a suitably sporty carbon fibre material) is likely to cost north of £15k. That's a pretty nice Christmas present for someone special - although if you've got the money to be forking out for a set of these, it's probably not that special after all, with multi-thousand-pound expenditures certainly an hourly occurrence.

By the way, weren't you supposed to get the Aston serviced today?
