Having used a TomTom GO 500 for 3 years, I thought that the Navigon 5110 looked an interesting alternative, with some nice added features. Unfortunately this item does not live up to expectations. Postcode coverage is poor, could not even find my son's house, yet the TomTom had no difficulties. The new "Fresh" communications software is very flash but failed to communicate with the update servers and the help on the support line was dreadful.
Disappointed would be an understatement, especially as it looked so good on paper. They don't even provide a usb lead to connect to the computer. So in summary I would advise consumers to look elsewhere and spend their money on a better alternative.
