You only need to pay to upload files using the wireless connection. Uploading from your computer to the Kindle is free.

No upgradeable memory and they some how managed to make the screen look even smaller within the face of the device.
If they haven't fixed the issue of needing to pay amazon in-order to upload your own files onto it.... there's no point to this.
