Vodafone UK Launches BlackBerry Bold

It was leaked long before it was formerly unveiled and it was subsequently delayed and delayed some more but, at last, the sumptuous BlackBerry Bold has touched down at Vodafone UK...
Long rumoured to be the front runner, Vodafone has finally unveiled the handset and stated it will go on sale immediately. Orange, T-Mobile, 3 and O2 are also taking the much hyped model meaning it has a clean sweep of all the major networks.

So what's the network differentiator? Well, Vodafone is pulling out all the stops here giving the handset to users for free on a £35pm contact which provides 600 cross network minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB per month of data allowance. Naturally there's a snag though: the contract length is two years.
For those with (consistently) short memories, you'll find a Bold packing HSDPA, WiFi and GPS along with full Microsoft Office document editing (in your face, you know who!) and the latest version of RIM's famous physical Qwerty keyboard. On the downside the choice of a two megapixel camera is as disappointing as it was on the iPhone 3G.
Still, methinks it's time for you to sneak out of work and go grab one...
