I can understand laixer's frustration. Unless they can come up with a touchscreen OS with as strong a foundation as OS X (and no, I'm not a fanboy - I have plenty reservations about Apple) then that's the sticking point for these so-called 'killers'. But that's Windows for you - bringing otherwise terrific technology down to it's ho-hum standard.

I agree with laxier comment. Also, there is something Samsung and others don't get. The success of the iPhone is not because of the features. In fact, the original iphone lacks features. it's the interface stupid! add to that TSE (The Steve Effect)!

I like it, but it lacks so much, no forward facing cam, no vga screen, storage only 16gb, main cam only 2.0 megapixels. I wanted so much to get this phone, maybe I still will, depends on price and plan. Otherwise will go for the HTC Touch Diamond, has forward facing cam, vga screen, 3.2 megapixel camera but only 4gb of storage. Has anyone done a side by side comparison?

I run product development for a cellular carrier, and I carry Windows Mobile. I also carry an iPhone, which I very much want to hate, because I don't work for AT&T. Sadly, I agree with Laixer and Qortuba: it's the interface. WinMob 6.1 is like using Win 98 on a desktop. Antiquated, cluttered interface, with serious performance problems even on the newest handsets. I'm kind of a MSFT fan, actually (go, Zune!) but their handset platform is nowhere near Apple's.
