Fresh from its purchase by Acer E-TEN is set to bring dual sim technology into the mainstream with its latest smartphone.

According to leaks, the Taiwanese company is prepping the 'DX900' (above) which will become the latest member of the Glofiish series and attempt to cash in on the growing sector of consumers carrying two sets of mobiles.

The DX900 is no technological dud either packing HSDPA, a 3MP camera with autofocus, 2.8in display with VGA resolution, GPS, a motion sensor, FM tuner, microSD expansion slot and - in typical E-TEN style - a Windows Mobile OS (yup, it's version 6.1).

Asia will be the DX900's first port of call, but don't be surprised to see this go global later in the year. Now if the combined efforts of E-TEN and new sugar daddy Acer can just land it a telco deal...
