Why is no comparison made with Garmin and other competitors? Why no discussion of integration with Strava, bikeroutetoaster, etc?

Total disaster of a device.that basically does not work when wet. A few minutes a rain renders the touch screen totally useless, after which the unit has to be dry for 5-6 hours before it will respond again. Raised a support case with Mio and they say its a known 'issue'. In the process of returning the device and encountered equally poor support from Mio and the retailer where I purchased the unit. The on device routing is also awful. Steer well clear.

Absolutely brilliant device, dont listen to Phil hes obviously got a dodgy one or is a troll for Garmin. Ive had my Mio since day one and its been faultless, even in the wet. Easily as good as the Garmin i owned if not better. Much cheaper too, you cant go wrong with this gps. Pretty much perfect for bike riding.

I hope it works better than my 305 HC which completely ignores the wheel circumference setting (a bit of a bother when you have bikes with 406-wheels) and occasionally records off-the-wall speeds: during a relaxed ride on Friday, I apparently max'd out at 100+ km/h ... Works just as well/badly in the rain though, but the screen is hopeless in the sun.

I would love the "surprise me" -function... But does it work for MTB cyclists routes? Or does it just give you tarmac-routes?

I wasted my money on this crap. I live in Chicago and mine shipped without maps for Illinois!

What a waste of money. Battery will not charge after only 700 miles of use. Mio service centre want to charge me to fix. Looses gps in wooded areas. Has me traveling at 450 mph on my bike with a cadence of 250 rpm. Really. Good points are it is easy to use and set up and display is good. Surprise me function is good. Would I buy again. NO. My old garmin has over 70000 miles and battery is still working fine. Wasted £300.
