I use a 15" notebook. Would there be space to use a mouse on the surface aswell?

I've been using a Lapinator for three years myself, but if I ever get an excuse to replace it, I'll be looking at one of these for sure. The Lapinator was ok back then but this looks so much more well-finished.

Right, apologies for the tardy reply!

@Lon Bailey: Yeah, as noted in the review, notebooks up to 17in should fit fine.

@DevGuy: Hmm, just about I'd reckon, though bear in mind the surface is glossy, so a lot of mice probably wouldn't work on it.

Bought one of these from Misco after your review andy.

Its an excellent, simplistic bit of kit, and further more my balls no longer get heated up to gas mark 4!

I also purchased it based upon the TR review and am very happy with it.

I bought it as soon as it came out, and I must say it is by far the best investment I have ever made for my notebook (along with a decent wireless mouse). You can sit in virtually any comfortable position without having to worry about any loin-scorching whatsoever, all the while knowing your laptop is provided with ample ventilation to avoid damaging internal parts. Looks slick and the surface anchors the rubber feet under tha laptop so very securely. Bliss.

Oh, and it also works well as a sort of easel if you happen to like drawing!
