Read the full LG Optimus 2X review

The LG Optimus 2X is an excellent phone. Its styling is lovely, it packs in oodles of high-end hardware and thanks to its Android OS, it's hugely versatile. However, LG has made a few too many slip ups for it to really hit the top spot. Nontheless, particularly thanks to it being a bit cheaper than the competition, if you're looking for a true smartphone powerhouse, it's well worth considering.

I tried one out a few weeks ago, although very fast and a great screen, I found that the large buttons on the bottom bezal annoyed me, they made the phone too bulky in my hands/pocket.

Any chance of an Motorola Atrix review, hoping to get hold of one for myself in the next couple of weeks!

Thanks for the review. I'd like to add an issue:

For some strange reason, dust particles get into the space between the camera lens and the external protective layer, so after 2 years of use the camera of LG Optimus 2X will essentially have developed a cataract....

Oh, never mind about my previous post. It's between the battery cover and the lens, so it can easily be cleaned.

I had this phone for 2.5 yrs now. After the first month is started doing funny things, like re-starting randomly and loosing signal on areas were it was supposed to have signal. It freezes a lot. Even that I took good care of it, the battery is dying slowly, I have to charge it at least twice a day and its just not reliable anymore.

I really can't wait for my 3 yr contract to be over so I can switch phones.
