Is there a specific game mode that reduces the input lag at all?
@ Badgerio. Yes there is a mode, no it doesn't reduce lag. It says so in the review in the Input Lag section -
''And the 55LM660T continues this theme, taking in the region of 100ms to show pictures - even if you use the provided 'game' preset.''
A fantastic television by the looks of things. I can't wait for the release of the LG OLED TV.
Craig, I can't wait either. I've been thinking about their OLED TV almost every day.
I think LG TVs are a good fit especially for family use. Like you said, this model comes with 4 glasses and each extra pair costs only ￡5~10 which is remarkably cheaper compared to active 3D glasses. I also like its design. And LG knew how to utilize the design to enhance their picture quality.
I totatlly fell in love with the design, when I saw it online. However, after seeing in it in person and actually watching the quality images of the TV, I knew it had to be in my living room. Now I am proud owner of it and now it brings the family closer when having movie nights. The kids love the 3D and since the glasses are affordable we bought spare ones.
This thing looks like a painting on the wall. Not only is the design absolutely elegant, but the quality on this TV beast is spectacular. The girlfriend and I rarely go to the theatres when we have all picture perfect and sound quality at home now.
The LW series were alright but the LM series are amazing. The cinema 3d development brings true 3d to polarized glasses. The design has to be a key point. The bezel is minimized and stylish stand make quite a statement. Motion resolution is spoken to be limited but I haven't faced any kind of issues so far. The price of LM670T is also worth the quality. The rival TV Panasonic TX-L47ET50 is unparalleled price wise.
The flicker free 3d tv is one of the best experiences. The comfort zone viewing far outweighs any shuttle glasses. There is less stress in to the eyes and it is sensational blur free. The great feature that I really am pleased is the 2d to 3d conversion. I get to watch any channels 3d. Having some friends over for dual play is off the hook. It allows you to view full screen. Some loss of detail in darker areas is shown on the picture but overall since the black level is deep and rich, it is able to be covered. The quality of a smart TV is all shown on this set.
I love the LM660T. It has great watchable passive 3d. The 2d HD picture is also an outstanding feature. The bezel-free design makes it outstanding, and it has one of the best smart tv system. Smart system provide comprehensive online feature for variety of enjoyable experience. There are some negative in 3d line structure but it is not something that can be pointed out daily. I would buy this right away if possible.
